I've had Bennington pottery for more than fifty years, and I just treated myself to this batter bowl because I needed a small bowl for mixing and I've been wanting something in this glaze since the moment I saw it. I'm very pleased, as I always am, with Bennington pots.

I bought one of these bowls when my oldest daughter was attending UVM-I always make pancakes with it- it's become very nostalgic for all my daughters and their young families when they are home for holidays -it just occurred too me what a fantastic shower gift this would be for upcoming weddi gs with a big bag of paleo birchbenders pancake mix and spatula-I also will order for Christmas gifts too for those daughters of mine!!!

I have wanted the batter bowl for a long time but kept putting off the purchase because I just couldn't choose one of the beautiful glazes. I finally decided on the simple gold, and I'm so happy with it. The gold really allows the potter's craftsmanship to shine through! I am using it all the time, and it really is perfectly balanced!
