A rose is a rose... but a pitcher can be a vase!

My husband of 40 years had started bringing me home flowers from the grocery store. I pulled out all my own old glass vases but some were tippy, some too short and all of them boring. I thought how nice the flowers might look in a pretty pitcher instead- and when he brought home red roses the day the Bennington Potters Catalog came I knew instantly how wonderful they would look in a shapely, sturdy, charming Elements Green Cottage pitcher- and I was right! I will still want to use the pitcher this summer for lemonade, put now, in March, deep red roses and greenery look spectacular against this Bennington Potters " vase!"

I recently purchased several pieces of your pottery on the recommendation of my daughter. In a word, it is Beautiful! The only glitch is that the pieces we have purchased are a gift for my sweet daughter in law, so I will soon need to part with it. Rest assured, I will be back to start a collection of my own!

This is the perfect sized pitcher. Well made as always with Bennington Potters! Mine sits next tot he stove keeping my kitchen utensils at the ready. I like it there as I can see it on display everyday!
