I've been gradually replacing worn out pieces of my everyday dishes that were purchased in 1995 at Crate & Barrel. I just can't part with these dishes and keep coming back for more. I've moved my dishes about 10 times over the years. Some of my older piece need a good scrubbing with Bar Keepers Friend at times.

I love the white-on-white pattern and bought a stack of these lunch plates as a gift for myself on my birthday. When they arrived I was even more pleased with them than I expected. The rim has enough lip so a pile of salad won't slide off. The plates feel sturdy enough to use every day and toss in the dishwasher, yet they also have a light elegance to them. Everyone in the household loves them. Next gift will be the dinner plates - looking forward to Mother's Day!

Building my BP collection and purchased lunch plates in the Morning Glory Blue glaze to go with White on White dinner plates. They are so dreamy and such a wonderful size. Really durable pottery in gorgeous glazes.

These lunch plates are perfect for the side of bread and butter or a small meal. We almost went with the dessert plates, but decided those would probably be too small. If you are looking for a set of dinnerware, I highly recommend pairing the lunch plates and dinner plates. Couldn't be happier!

After 35 years of use, I cracked one of the Classic Lunch Plates that had been a part of my original full set of Blue Agate Bennington. I hoped that the new piece would match my set and it does...perfectly! My pottery is used daily and has survived several moves, 2 marriages, various children and grandchildren and my dishwasher. It still looks and performs as beautifully as the first time I used it. I have actually indoctrinated my two best friends into my love of Bennington Pottery and they are now avid collectors and users of the your Blue Agate pottery! We all love it and would love to see some new pieces added. I would personally love to see a 2-3 quart covered casserole dish...

I have been buying your Blue Agate dinnerware for over 30 years. It's heavy and sturdy but occasionally a piece breaks or chips and I am so happy that it can be reordered open stock. Please keep making your lovely pottery; it will stay in my family for many years to come.

So happy years ago my daughter introduced me to your beautiful pottery- I would visit your store each time we would travel from Iowa to her home in Peterborough NH and purchase gifts for others- then one day I said "why am I not purchasing for myself"-so I've been purchasing and adding to my collection of White on White (and other items) and absolutely love-I'm sad not being able to visit your store in person but am happy I can still order online

While cleaning up after a meal, we accidentally broke a Blue Morning Glory luncheon plate we had bought as our basic household dinnerware some 30 years ago. However, we were able to order a new one (actually two!) om ;line so effortlessly we were amazed. They arrived in good shape quicker than we expected. We are VERY pleased with Bennington Potters, needless to say.

Just love the feeling and look of this sweet plate.
We purchased these with the idea they would be just the right size for a sandwich...which they certainly are that and more!

We got all 3 sized plates in White on White and we love the look. The lunch plate itself is a bit small to me, like the dinner plate, but I am fairly large so I have a tendency to like plates, bowls, and cups that are a little larger than average. Definitely plan on purchasing more.

My plate arrived safely - replacing a broken 35 year old. The edge shape is slightly different and the blue agate not as blotchy as I would have liked. Overall a pretty good replacement piece.

These are very beautiful plates that could be used for special events however we enjoy them every day. They are a very good size not only for lunch but for a light supper. They are lighter weight than other pottery plates i've had by other companies. My only complaint is more in regards to the white on white glaze products. Bennington does not produce very many specialty items in this glaze and I would encourage them to do so.
