When all my friends in the 80s had hand-thrown pottery dishes, I had Corelle. I decided I wanted my own pottery set and have always loved Bennington's Elements Blue. I am so happy that I have started this collection. I love the pottery and Bennington Pottery is such a great company -- fast delivery, care packaging, and, of course. lovely pieces.

Over 30 years ago, my young self saw a set of Bennington dishes in a pottery shop in a neighboring town. It was instant love. The shape, the blue agate the solidness spoke to my heart. On a very meagre budget, I began collecting, one piece at a time, until I could host a table of 12. I still love it. The addition of the dessert plates adds more love. I was a Bennington customer for life from the very first glance. Looking at a table set with settings of blue agate is sheer joy. But maybe another glaze color to weave in here and there? I'm definitely not done with my Bennington crush!

I've been collecting the original glaze for years and inherited a few pieces from my mother. Now I'm buying place settings for my granddaughter as a wedding gift. We all live Bennington, and my niece has decided she loves it, so I know exactly what to give her for special occasions.

I love my really old set of Bennington pottery dinnerware and happy to be able to replace pieces! The dinner plate is a little larger than the originals, but the color and quality is the same!! Thank you for continuing to make classic Vermont dishes for Vermont people!!

Not what they use to be

I have had my bennington pottery for 40yrs. As my family has grown I needed to add more plates. These are not as sturdy and thick as the originals. I'm not as happy with them as I don't see them holding up for 40yrs.
