I heard about bennington potters from Lead free Mama on Facebook. She recommended the mug being that it is lead free. I really like my mug and the color is beautiful. It is sturdy but not overly heavy.

I had originally purchased one of these mugs about 3 years ago as a Christmas present for my father-in-law. He was absolutely in love with it, and used it every day at the office. Unfortunately, one day I dropped it on the floor and only the handle snapped off. I felt so bad about making his favorite mug unusable. I purchased another one for him in January, and within 3 days of placing the order, the mug arrived. He was SO happy to have his mug back! It keeps his coffee warmer for longer than any other mugs he has ever had. Thank you so much to Bennington Pottery for making such a beautiful and quality product!

ordered several replacement pieces for our blue agate set which were shipped promptly and very well packaged. Were short one piece. A simple phone call and it was taken care of and received the next day. Outstanding company with great PEOPLE and quality products.

Been using Bennington Potteryware for 40+ years. New to me is the American Classic Mug 16oz in two colors: Blue Agate & Black on Green. Have used everyday since delivered. They are wonderful. Keeps coffee/ tea warm. Feels nice in the hands. Would buy again.

I have a complete set in this pattern and they didn't offer these mugs until recently. Like everything I have gotten from Bennington, they are incredibly well made and absolutely beautiful.

I love my blue agate mugs. They are heavy and beautiful. I only purchased 2 but will order more. I also have a teapot with cup and saucer. The detail and beauty of these pieces are unmatched. I use them daily and they are the best quality. Thank you for such fantastic pieces.

We like soups, stews, chili - and this mug is perfect. It holds a full serving. In addition, this marvelous mug is great for a generous serving of hot chocolate.
