I had purchased this same mug years ago on a trip to Vermont. It became my husband's favorite mug but ended up getting dropped one day and broke. I purchased a replacement for him this year for a Christmas gift--it's back to being his favorite mug again! He likes how the mug feels in his hand and says that it keeps his tea warmer longer than other mugs.

What a beautiful mug! We purchased this mug because it's one of the only ones we could find that would work in a cup holder that wasn't a travel mug. It's great! And I love that it's dishwasher safe.

I was recently in a car accident where my coffee cup, and the last one I had, that fit my cupholder broke. I asked my family and friends to please try to search for a coffee mug that I could use in my car that was not stainless steel or a travel mug. I'm trying to stay away from anything plastic, stainless or has a resin when heated will not be good for my body. I use glass or ceramic but it's impossible to find anything that fits a cupholder where the handle is high enough that you can use it effectively. This is perfect. Not only that, it's thick, strong, very durable, well-made and absolutely a luxury I should have bought a long time ago. I'm so pleased with this mug that for my daughters wedding I am hoping to afford her a ceramic set from Bennington pottery. Thank you for taking the time to make a quality product that we can really enjoy. Every time I use it I feel like it's a warm hug. XOXOXO - Shannon

I love mine and the one I bought when we visited the shop. We lived in western, mass then. It fit in all the cup holders in my Prius and Blazer. I bought more. Some still wen in Mass and also in California, for my commuting daughters and sobs- in-laws. I also bought "regular " height triggers for my daughter out west, after she asked for them. We both love then, and have for over ten years.

In 1971 I opened a restaurant in North Conway, NH. All the dishware I bought was Bennington, matte black. For 50 years now I have bought Bennington for gifts and for myself. Outstanding quality of design, materials and crafting. Most recently, I ordered a single matte black tall trigger mug to replace one I broke. It was so well packaged that even just the box and wrappings were quite heavy! Excellent crafts and excellent service.

these are the coolest mugs ever. I got the tall ones in black and white. The black has a hint of blue undertone, and is a true matte finish. They have a larger capacity than most mugs, deceivingly. I would be interested to see a third loop in the handle, as it seems my third finger also wants its own spot! But that probably would not look as cool.

These mugs are super fun. Not only is the trigger handle fun to hold the mug by, but also the look of these mugs is very mid century modern. The matte glaze is very well done.
Shipping was so fast that I had to wonder if the mugs got dropped off by Bennington pottery themselves, seemed too fast to have gone through the mail.

We had purchased a new loveseat with the center console. The cup holders were too deep for a regular coffee cup or a tall one with regular handle. The trigger mugs work perfectly! My partner had been looking for some time with no success for a mug that could hold a good amount of coffee and fit in his car's cup holder. When I saw the Tall Trigger mugs I got so excited I bought him 2 for his birthday. I was a little worried the trigger handles might be too tight, but they fit his hands perfectly. We both love how beautiful and functional they are!

My mom began collecting Bennington potters pieces when I was growing up near Bennington in the 1980s. I LOVE that I can still add to her collection and after ALL these years. They are still their every day dishes and I love visiting their home and using them. They remind me of fond memories of my time growing up in Vermont. These will be perfect for my mom's lattes!
