Heart Shaped Stoneware Bakeware | Chip and Dip

This set had its genesis at a party we attended years ago. Much to our delight, we saw two of our heart shaped bakeware pieces tucked together and filled with salsa and chips! Since that first happy introduction, we've adopted it as our own. Pewter finished lid.

A Cool Gift to Give or Get
On New Year's Eve I get out the gift for Mom from Christmas years ago. It's a heart shaped baking pan found on a Vermont vacation at a country store that sold stoneware pottery made right on site. They had country home décor items to go along with the pottery – it was very fun shopping. You could take a tour of their factory and watch their pottery making process from start to finish. It was fascinating! I think it was Bennington Potters. At any rate, I'm using the dish as part of a chip and dip set tonight. Mom uses it as a breakfast tray a lot or as a small serving platter. I guess it was a cool gift because she uses it a lot. Growing up the menu was cold sodas, chips and dips. We played cards and games until midnight and then made lots of noise with pots and pans and were sent off to bed. The menu has changed a bit, but there is still nothing better in my mind than staying at home with family on New Year's Eve to welcome in the New Year. That's truly a cool gift to give or to get.
