This tankard is essentially the same as any of our other tankards but when we glaze them in Tavernware, they are even more so amazing! We ever-so gently hand rub off some of the tanned glaze here & there in the "wet stage" before firing them up! The resulting effect is a glazing that has depth and substance with primitive appeal. Don't worry, Tavernware mugs are still fully sealed, safe, functional, and as always dishwasher and microwave friendly.
